Teenagers in the media 

I'm not surprised to see teenagers portrayed like this in the media. Teenagers have been portrayed in a negative way for a very long time. Many of these stories are true but there is a lot of bias towards teenagers. Many people have had one or two bad experiences with teenagers and because of the other stories, they have to hear they give in to the stereotype that teenagers are always bad people. The cycle then continues and this leads to teenagers losing trust in the media.
